Disney announced the end of the game on September 1, 2016. It was the end for both Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2, which had been released early in the year, in all platforms. The games were no longer available for new downloads or accept online payments, but were still available for players for a month. A final Special Operation was released, to close the plot of the game. The game completely ceased to be available on September 30.
Avengers Alliance is a successful game that combines role-playing and action genre with many characters created by Marvel. You can play the game for free on your Windows 8 tablet and desktop computer, where you team up with Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Wolverine and dozens of other superheroes and fight against evil.
The game itself is 50 MB, but it will download a lot more during the first run, making it harder to play on budget phones with low space. But on an Android emulator, you can set the available storage as high as you want to, eliminating this issue. Total size of the game will be about 700-800 MBs, depending on how fast you progress in the levels.
"Today we are announcing the shutdown of Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 on all platforms, including the App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Windows Phone Store, and Facebook," Disney announced on its website. "Beginning today, we are no longer accepting new purchases or downloads, but the games will be available to play until September 30, 2016."

To help pass the time between releases of Marvel movies, fans of the characters have a few different options: the comic books (of course), TV shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and even Facebook games. Marvel: Avengers Alliance was released in 2012 and, by the time Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 came along in March 2012, the first game had attracted over 70 million players. The free-to-play turn-based role-playing game casts players in the role of a newly recruited S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and allows them to team up with any two characters from a roster of over 100 Marvel superheroes.
Today we are announcing the shutdown of Marvel: Avengers Alliance and Marvel: Avengers Alliance 2 on all platforms, including the App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Windows Phone Store, and Facebook. Beginning today, we are no longer accepting new purchases or downloads, but the games will be available to play until September 30, 2016.
Hopefully the explanation from Disney is an indication that a new Marvel-related mobile and Facebook game will be along soon to take the place of Avengers Alliance (perhaps with a title that reflects the fact that the Avengers' alliance is broken at the moment), but it may be hampered by the ill feeling that this sudden announcement has generated.
If you enjoy role-playing games and superheroes then you Will marvel ultimate alliance ocean of games currently available on Steam, originally published on Xbox, today play all of the excitement of your favorite superhero team-ups on your computer. Download now for several of the superhero action you can handle!
The Lego games have inherited Ultimate Alliance's giddy geeky thrill, but apart from that notable exception it seems that the licensed video game has almost completely vacated the console market, aiming instead for the mobile audience where a free download and a marketable brand can more easily deliver the required number of users. Few will be sad to see such an unloved genre disappear, but Ultimate Alliance's revival has reminded me, at least, of what's possible when popular IP, ripe with potential, ends up in the hands of passionate developers.
The game starts with Doctor Doom having recently formed a new Masters of Evil. The new evil alliance launches an attack on the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier U.N.N. Alpha and Nick Fury sends out a distress call to all available meta-humans or superheroes. Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and Wolverine are seen responding to the call and the heroes proceed to eliminate Doctor Doom's forces led by Scorpion, Bullseye, Winter Soldier, Radioactive Man, and Fin Fang Foom. After saving the Helicarrier, Nick Fury is given permission to form a task force to fight this new threat and Iron Man gives them permission to use Stark Tower as their headquarters since the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier U.N.N. Alpha was badly damaged by the Masters of Evil.
