I had the same exact issue. I want to hook up the cruise control to the JZS161 ECU. I'd like to know if the harness is compatible with my 84 and if it's plugged in correctly (CCS & all wires connected).
To get the harness, you need to order the full harness and then make custom modifications.
There is a wiring diagram for the engine harness, but it can be difficult to understand. The wiring diagram for the cruise control harness can be found here:
This is a complete wiring harness for an automatic transmission (auto) driving manual transmission (man). This wiring harness includes the cruise control function, automatic transmission power switches, on and off switches, speedo, shift linkage, fuel pump, reverse lights, oil pressure, accelerator pedal, brake pedal, and boost control.
The cruise control function will work if the car has the cruise control function (not needed if you plan on plug and play).
This wiring harness can be set up for universal use or to work with your specific chassis. This wiring harness will not work with the automatic transmission without the cruise control function as it does not have the wires for a cruise control function. The cruise control function will work with either automatic or manual transmission, so if you have an automatic transmission you can get the harness and it will work.
This wiring harness is available for auto, manual, or manual transmission (auto is an extra $200).
Just put in a new multi-speed transmission with the wiring harness, and you have a completely new head unit. The wiring harness will control all the different speed sensors on your tranny, and should be able to handle up to 20 speeds. This harness will work with your existing radio and dash, but it has a new case (it is a plug and play harness).
Please help me, I have contacted Dell and Microsoft about this, and I think they have just brushed me off. I also need to know if Vista 32 bit is compatible with a 64bit processor. I have a Dell PC that was a gift and my friend is a non technical person. 827ec27edc
